Leading authorities estimate that up to 40-50% of employees will lose their jobs in the next 3-5 years, due to digitization, globalization and automation. Most of these employees have worked in the same job for 10, 20, or 30 years, and have no idea how to find a new job, or how to work themselves into it. World leaders in Davos called it the “New Industrial revolution”, and there is some concern about the impact, but at the moment, nobody at the top seems to have the time to do much about it.
How many people do you know, who have already been laid off due to automation? How about all the cashiers at your local supermarket who have now been replaced by machines? How about the translators who have been replaced by google translate, accountants who have been replaced by Quickbooks, secretaries who have been replaced by Dragon. Uber and world-wide truck companies are seeking to deploy autonomous vehicles, banks are automating their trading and negotiation systems, AIs learn to negotiate to replace lawyers, and in addition, some of these services, even when still populated by employees, will be moved abroad.
What becomes of all the workers who have lost, or will lose their jobs?
We would like to help.
I personally have been in the situation several times that I lost my income due to some external circumstance that I had no control over - a lost Visa, a writer’s strike for a year, or some local politics - and I had to find a way to survive and thrive. I did, sometimes even doubling or tripling my income. However, I do remember the insecurity, the feeling of helplessness before it all came together again.
Therefore, to make the process safer, easier, and faster, we developed a system to help find a new job and get up to speed on the requirements quickly. We developed strategies of what to do and what to avoid, and provide a set of tools that people can apply by themselves, that go beyond the usual advice on how to write CVs and how to ace job interviews. This is a system that can do much more than just deal with the immediate crisis. What if losing this job is not a catastrophe at all, but an invitation to a whole new life?
What if you can take this opportunity to finally go for the career or mission that you always dreamed of going after, but that you have long given up on.
What if this job loss could end up being the best thing that ever happened to you?
We provide coaching and seminars, that can show you how to turn things around and turn defeat into victory, so that this is just a step to a higher level, to a job or career or even mission that may be even more satisfying than what you have been doing, if you are determined enough to break through.
